I signed up for coaching with Tracey initially for 12 weeks after which I signed up for monthly coaching for a further six months.
I noticed in my daily activities I found myself thinking about the things I have learned and I have had the courage to take up a development opportunity. One of my drivers to seek coaching was just not knowing what to do next, I have been able to share my aspirations more clearly and it has resulted in a great opportunity that I know will challenge me to learn new things and I am sure will make me feel awkward along the way but I am prepared to face that. I am definitely a work in progress, but until I took a step back and had Tracey's input as my coach I didn’t know where to start.I benefited from a renewed confidence in who I am and what I can achieve. I was challenged to think differently about how I behave, to recognise and celebrate what I do well and to reflect on areas where I need to focus more.One of my biggest realisations was that I don't set boundaries at home with my partner and that by making these clearer he will respond differently, I will feel better and home life for the whole family will benefit.What surprised me about coaching was that I was pointed back to practices in my own spiritual life that I have lost along the way (getting busier and keeping other people happy) but those simple things were/are integral to my wellbeing and I need to find ways to rediscover them.
